About the Role

Initial Facilities Management is seeking an experienced Electrical & Electromechanical Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of professional experience, focusing on the comprehensive management and maintenance of electrical and electromechanical systems within a facility management context. The role involves leading a technical team, ensuring operational excellence, and upholding safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and leadership to the electrical & electromechanical team, including supervisors and technicians.
• Develop and deliver asset management plans and preventive maintenance programs in accordance with RFP (SFG20) requirements.
• Ensure immediate response, proper action, complete reporting, and on-time feedback for unscheduled, emergency, and all service requests, adhering to SLA response and resolution times.
• Provide high-quality maintenance and breakdown troubleshooting for all electrical & electromechanical assets.

Operational Management and Maintenance

• Plan, develop, implement, ensure, and submit all required deliverables listed in the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for electrical & electromechanical systems/assets.
• Ensure all electrical & electromechanical assets and equipment are running smoothly and reliably in the assigned area.
• Perform facility inspections to ensure smooth operation and adherence to safety precautions.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair work on assets, equipment, tools, and other items used inside the facility.
• Evaluate possible causes of asset failures and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate and perform scheduled maintenance activities for all electrical & electromechanical assets in full coordination with airport stakeholders.
• Monitor daily, monthly, and yearly consumption of consumables and spare parts.
• Prepare periodic materials replenishment plans and material requisitions for needed spare parts & consumables to fulfill site operation requirements for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.

Reporting and Documentation

• Develop and prepare all periodic progress, technical, and innovation reports.
• Provide reports on asset life cycle analysis, asset condition, assessment reports, and asset availability reports.
• Provide technical assessment reports (Root Cause Analysis - RCA) during asset breakdowns and offer technical recommendations.
• Generate and submit the CAFM (MAXIMO) daily report for the assigned location, implement proper actions, and achieve optimal KPI results for Preventive Maintenance (PMs) and Corrective Maintenance (CMs).

Team Leadership and Safety

• Manage and apply the annual training plan for electrical & electromechanical staff, covering technical aspects and trade skills training.
• Proactively manage and take ownership of issues, seeking equitable and creative solutions.
• Communicate effectively with the technical team and project stakeholders, ensuring coordination with the site team.
• Act as an ambassador for safety within the team and promote safe working practices across the site.
• Support supervisors and technicians by motivating, providing knowledge, and hands-on experience.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships across all organizational levels.
• Provide enriched feedback to enhance individual performance.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation for all site activities.

Required Qualifications

• A facility management certification is required for this role.
