About the Role

Jazera Arabia Contracting is seeking a full-time Electrical Engineer Technical Office to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is centered on the design, review, and documentation of various electrical systems, including lighting, low-voltage power, and ELV systems, all within a BIM environment. The successful candidate will contribute to integrated design solutions for projects.

Core Responsibilities

• Prepare and review electrical designs for lighting, low-voltage power, and comprehensive ELV systems, which include fire alarm, BMS, CCTV, access control, structured cabling, and related systems.
• Produce design drawings, shop drawings, as-built drawings, and accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Coordinate effectively with other engineering disciplines to resolve clashes and ensure integrated design solutions.
• Utilize software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks (BIM), AutoCAD, Dialux Evo, Ecodial, and ETAP in daily tasks.
• Review designs to ensure full compliance with the Saudi Building Code (SBC) and relevant international standards, including IEC, BS, NEC, and NFPA.
• Apply knowledge of materials and suppliers available within the Saudi market.
• Support the development of technical specifications, material submittals, and value engineering initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in electrical design, specifically within a technical office or consultancy environment.

Technical Expertise

• Strong proficiency in Revit (BIM), AutoCAD, Dialux Evo, and power analysis software.
• Proven ability to prepare design, shop, and as-built drawings, alongside accurate quantity take-offs.
• Solid knowledge of the Saudi market regarding materials and suppliers.
• Comprehensive understanding of the Saudi Building Code and international electrical codes.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to join the company within 30 days of an offer.
