House of Consulting Office for Consulting Engineers Co. (HCO) is a prominent multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm based in Saudi Arabia. HCO delivers integrated architectural, engineering, planning, and project management consultancy services, providing comprehensive solutions that support clients throughout the entire project lifecycle.

The Role: Electrical Engineer

HCO is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is critical for supporting the delivery of a major construction project, requiring a professional with a strong background in electrical engineering within the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and monitor electrical construction activities across all project phases.
Review electrical design drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, electrical codes, standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
Conduct site inspections and monitor electrical installations.
Supervise works related to power distribution, lighting, ELV, grounding, and fire alarm systems.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, project managers, and stakeholders.
Monitor testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
Provide technical guidance and resolve site-related electrical issues.
Ensure implementation of quality control procedures and project standards.
Prepare inspection reports, technical documentation, and progress reports.
Support project teams in achieving project schedules and quality objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of experience in construction and engineering projects.
Previous experience working with Project Management Consultancy (PMC) organizations is mandatory.

Required Skills and Knowledge

Strong knowledge of electrical building systems, power distribution, lighting, and ELV systems.
Solid understanding of electrical codes, standards, quality control, and safety requirements.
Experience reviewing design documentation and technical submittals.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering software.
