About NTU International and the Project

NTU International is currently preparing a proposal for a significant project focused on "Communication outreach and engagement on EU policies in North Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf". This initiative aims to provide strategic, technical, and logistical communication support to DG MENA, enhancing the visibility, outreach, and impact of European Union policies, initiatives, and partnerships across the specified regions.

The Events Manager Opportunity

We are establishing a pool of qualified Non-Key Experts, including an Events Manager, to be mobilized on a short-term, on-demand basis throughout the project's 36-month implementation. This part-time role, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requires professionals with 5-10 years of experience in event management and communication support.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and deliver conferences, seminars, workshops, press events, and public outreach activities.
• Manage all logistical aspects of institutional events, including venue coordination, participant registration, and supplier liaison.
• Coordinate event schedules, speakers, moderators, and technical service providers.
• Support protocol arrangements and facilitate the participation of high-level EU officials, partner institutions, and external stakeholders.
• Supervise on-site event implementation to ensure smooth delivery.
• Coordinate event-related communication materials and participant information.
• Support post-event reporting, evaluations, and lessons learned.
• Work closely with communication teams, service providers, and DG MENA to ensure successful event implementation.

Candidate Profile and Engagement

We are seeking an Events Manager with a proven track record of 5-10 years of professional experience in planning and executing diverse events. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational and coordination skills, capable of managing complex logistical requirements and stakeholder interactions within a dynamic project environment. This role is part of a pool of experts, implying a flexible, part-time, on-demand engagement during the project's lifecycle.

Work Location and Terms

This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The engagement will be on a part-time, on-demand basis, aligning with the project's needs over its 36-month duration. Specific mobilization details will be communicated as required during project implementation.
