OverviewAs a Senior Project Management Specialist at the Islamic Development Bank, you will play a key role in planning, reviewing, assessing, managing, and coordinating approved Trust Funds Projects. This position requires close collaboration with donors, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project implementation, particularly in the areas affected by conflict.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic & Operational Planning: Support the development of strategies, policies, and guidelines for the Al-Aqsa and Palestine Trust Fund.
- Project Management: Assess new project proposals, manage ongoing projects, and provide guidance on planning, implementation, and reporting.
- Communication & Coordination: Prepare progress reports, supervise staff in the field, and represent the organization at conferences.
- Emergency Response: Analyze emergency requests and coordinate with partners for timely response to emergencies.
QualificationsTo qualify for this position, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years in the development sector. Proficiency in English and Arabic is mandatory, while knowledge of French is preferred.
