About AECOM and the Role

AECOM, a trusted infrastructure consulting firm dedicated to delivering a better world through impactful projects, is seeking a Facility Maintenance Specialist. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves joining a global team focused on ensuring operational continuity and optimal facility condition.

Key Responsibilities

The Facility Maintenance Specialist will perform a range of duties to support facility operations, including:

• Maintaining regular communication with Management regarding assignment status, including schedule adherence, budget management, delays, and critical issues.
• Prioritizing repair requests weekly in coordination with the Facilities Manager to ensure operational continuity.
• Maintaining comprehensive logs of all repairs, status updates, and completion dates, and submitting detailed weekly reports to the Facilities Manager.
• Managing inventory levels of supplies and equipment, procuring necessary materials with Facilities Manager approval to maintain operational readiness.
• Delivering technical expertise and guidance to team members, ensuring adherence to maintenance standards and best practices.
• Overseeing the training and evaluation of assigned technical personnel to ensure competency and professional development.
• Executing additional critical facility-related responsibilities as required.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following academic requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Maintenance Engineering, or a related field.

Experience and Expertise

The role requires a strong background in facility management. Applicants should have:

• Between 5 to 10 years of demonstrated expertise in managing, operating, and maintaining educational facilities. This includes experience with schools, universities, campuses, and their associated infrastructure.

Work Environment and Onboarding

This position is located in Riyadh, Riyadh. All newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding session at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.
