About the Field Service Engineer Role

AIQU is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer for a contract position in Riyadh. This role involves providing essential on-site support for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and service activities related to PLC and SCADA systems at customer locations. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, customer-focused, and capable of effectively addressing unexpected challenges in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and maintain PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, control, and automation issues at customer sites.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation equipment.
• Configure, test, and troubleshoot PLC programs and SCADA applications.
• Provide on-site technical support and ensure timely resolution of service requests.
• Prepare service reports, documentation, and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with internal teams and customers to ensure successful project execution.
• Adhere to safety standards and company procedures while working on-site.
• Be available for travel and emergency/breakdown support when required.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.
• 3–6 years of experience in field service, industrial automation, or control systems.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs.
• Experience with SCADA/HMI platforms.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours, including emergency service calls.
