Introduction to the Role

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority is seeking a Financial Investigation Lead Specialist to join its dedicated team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for experienced professionals ready to take on critical investigative challenges within a dynamic regulatory environment.

Role Purpose and Scope

As a Lead Specialist, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy, utilizing general and key guidance to address complex financial matters. Your primary focus will be on finding solutions to challenges that require in-depth analysis, often involving issues escalated from less experienced levels, ensuring comprehensive resolution.

Key Responsibilities

Conducting financial investigations in parallel with criminal investigations of cases.
Hearing statements and accurately reporting legal rights.
Analyzing reports received from relevant authorities and identifying suspicious activities.
Tracking and analyzing suspicious financial movements to uncover irregularities.
Performing other assigned tasks as required to support investigative operations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 5 to 10 years of professional experience in financial investigations or a closely related field.
Demonstrated ability to perform work effectively with general guidance, indicating strong independent problem-solving skills.
Proven capability to analyze, understand, and resolve complex problems, including those escalated from junior colleagues.
