Fit out Engineer

About the Role

Golden Mean Contracting is seeking a Fit Out Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves executing, supervising, and coordinating fit-out and finishing works across construction projects. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards, while maintaining project schedules, safety, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily fit-out and finishing activities at project sites.
• Monitor flooring, ceiling, partitioning, painting, joinery, doors, glazing, and other interior finishing works.
• Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with civil, architectural, MEP, and other project teams to resolve site-related issues.
• Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, supervisors, and site workers to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor work progress, material requirements, manpower, and installation schedules.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure timely rectification of defects and non-conforming works.
• Assist in quantity take-offs, material estimation, and cost monitoring.
• Prepare daily progress reports, inspection requests, and site documentation.
• Ensure compliance with site safety requirements and applicable Saudi regulations.
• Participate in snagging, final inspections, and project handover activities.

Accountabilities

The Fit Out Engineer is accountable for the proper execution and supervision of assigned fit-out and finishing works. This includes ensuring quality workmanship, technical compliance, effective site coordination, and timely completion in accordance with project requirements and company standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in fit-out and finishing works within construction projects.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and coordinate site activities effectively.
• Strong understanding of architectural drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.

Location and Work Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The salary for this role will be disclosed upon application.
