About the Role

alfanar Group is seeking a Mechanical Foreman to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 15+ years of relevant experience and involves overseeing the operation, maintenance, and repair of heavy equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the operation, servicing, and repair of heavy equipment.
• Plan and supervise the activities of employees engaged in equipment operation and repair.
• Maintain comprehensive records for each equipment item, including downtime, mechanical malfunctions, and necessary repairs.
• Assemble reports on the operating costs of various equipment models.
• Assist with interviewing potential employees, training, and evaluating new operators.
• Direct the team in creating maintenance plans for equipment and vehicles.
• Direct the team to determine quarterly requirements for oils, greases, filters, wear parts, and spare parts.
• Check with operators to ensure excellent use of equipment.
• Follow up with document controllers and senior mechanical technicians for arranging maintenance cards.
• Report breakdown root causes, equipment faults, and concerns to management.
• Ensure a safe working environment for self and colleagues, adhering to all health, safety, environmental, and quality management procedures.
