About the Role

NSG Geospatial Services is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience in software development, focusing on both frontend and backend systems. The role involves contributing to the entire software development lifecycle, from technical design to production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend microservices using Python and *****
• Design, develop, and maintain modern frontend applications using React and ****
• Design and implement secure, scalable, and maintainable REST APIs for frontend and third-party integrations.
• Develop and maintain real-time features and asynchronous communication where required.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, and application security best practices.
• Optimize backend and frontend performance, ensuring scalability, responsiveness, and reliability.
• Design efficient data access patterns, caching strategies, and application state management.

Development Lifecycle and Quality Assurance

• Own software features throughout the entire development lifecycle, from technical design to production support.
• Lead technical design discussions and contribute to overall system architecture and engineering best practices.
• Build reusable, maintainable, and well-structured frontend components following modern development standards.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested, and well-documented code.
• Review code, enforce engineering standards, and mentor other developers through technical guidance and constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement reliable long-term solutions.

Technical Planning and Collaboration

• Participate in technical planning, estimation, architecture reviews, and technology selection.
• Contribute to technical documentation, coding standards, and continuous improvement of engineering processes.
• Collaborate closely with Frontend, Backend, QA, UX/UI, and Product teams to define technical solutions and ensure seamless integration.

Required Technical Experience

• Experience designing and developing distributed systems based on Microservices Architecture.
• Experience with asynchronous messaging and event-driven architectures.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with API documentation standards such as OpenAPI (Swagger).
• Experience developing enterprise-scale web applications with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
