About the Role

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is seeking a Geospatial Program Manager to lead the development and implementation of geospatial programs and initiatives. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, is crucial for ensuring the consistent, accurate, and efficient collection, management, analysis, and dissemination of geospatial data and intelligence products. These outputs are vital for supporting military operations and informed decision-making. The role requires an individual capable of working independently, planning, and organizing team activities effectively. The offered salary is competitive.

Role Purpose and Scope

The primary purpose of this role is to manage and direct all aspects of geospatial programs. This involves establishing policies and procedures, overseeing program execution, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. The Geospatial Program Manager will be responsible for the strategic direction and operational effectiveness of geospatial information systems and products, directly contributing to the organization's mission success.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement geospatial policies, procedures, and standards to align with organizational objectives.
• Manage geospatial information programs and initiatives, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with other managers to identify, prioritize, and address geospatial needs and requirements.
• Oversee the acquisition, management, and dissemination of geospatial data and intelligence products.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of geospatial trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Ensure geospatial strategies and programs are aligned with overall organizational objectives and mission.
• Develop and monitor the geospatial budget, ensuring compliance with all financial and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Geospatial Information or a related field.
• Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification.
• Extensive proven experience in geospatial management or program management roles.
• Strong leadership, project management, and budget planning skills.
• Excellent knowledge of geospatial principles, tools, and technologies.
• Familiarity with geospatial data standards and policies, including NSG, ISO, IHO, DGWIG, NATO (STANAG), OGC, W3C, and SDO.
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and customers.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position located in Riyadh. The role requires an individual who can work effectively unsupervised and independently manage program activities. Collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders is a key aspect of the role.
