About the Role

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is seeking a Geospatial Customer Service Manager to lead a team responsible for supporting clients utilizing geospatial software and solutions. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and focuses on ensuring customer satisfaction, managing client relationships, and resolving technical challenges. The role requires a strong leader with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, coupled with expertise in geospatial technology.

Key Responsibilities

The Geospatial Customer Service Manager will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) in delivering technical support for geospatial software and solutions.
  • Cultivating and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Developing and implementing effective procedures for resolving customer issues and complaints.
  • Overseeing the resolution of technical issues and providing guidance and training to the CSR team.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to create and execute customer success strategies.
  • Staying informed about industry trends and advancements in geospatial technology.
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for customer support processes.
  • Monitoring and managing team performance to ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in Geospatial Information or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in Geospatial Technology, such as an ESRI Technical Certification.
  • Extensive experience in customer service management or a related customer service role, with a preference for experience within the geospatial industry.
  • Proficiency with geospatial software and solutions, including platforms like ESRI or ArcGIS.

Required Skills and Competencies

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for engaging with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • The ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Proficient teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • The capacity to work independently and plan/organize team activities.
