About the Role

Khazeen is seeking a Governance, Risk, Compliance & Legal Manager to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience to lead and implement critical strategic frameworks within the organization.

Role Overview and Strategic Development

The Governance, Risk, Compliance & Legal Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of strategies related to Governance, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Business Continuity. These strategies must align with Khazeen’s vision and mission, adhere to regulatory guidelines, and incorporate international best practices. The role involves leading the creation of these strategies under the guidance of the CEO, ensuring a robust framework for governance and compliance standards is established and continuously monitored.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of Governance, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Business Continuity strategies in alignment with company objectives and CEO directives.
  • Ensure a comprehensive governance and compliance framework is in place and actively monitor its implementation.
  • Develop and implement a Risk Management Plan according to international best practices and standards.
  • Oversee the creation of Khazeen’s risk matrix, identifying dependencies and potential impacts of missed deadlines.
  • Monitor projects to ensure the effective implementation of the Risk Management process.
  • Oversee the development and progress of the Business Continuity Planning (BCP) process across the organization.
  • Facilitate and support the execution of plans during crisis events.
  • Direct and monitor the implementation of procedures and controls to meet all relevant legislative and procedural requirements, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure the company operates in accordance with regulations from supervisory and regulatory authorities, internal policies, and Board of Directors' decisions.
  • Identify legal risks and propose solutions for their management.
  • Assure the confidentiality of legal materials and documents, restricting access to authorized personnel.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Managerial Duties

This role includes significant managerial responsibilities focused on team performance and adherence to organizational standards. Key duties include:

  • Ensuring subordinates comply with departmental policies, procedures, and quality standards, cascading objectives and KPIs.
  • Overseeing workforce selection for the department in line with business and operational plans.
  • Boosting subordinate engagement and capability development through ongoing feedback and coaching.
  • Ensuring all department staff adhere to Khazeen's safety and security regulations.
  • Optimizing department performance and cost-effectiveness by designing and monitoring challenging KPIs.
  • Reviewing department performance against budget targets and KPIs, initiating corrective actions as needed.
  • Managing government and regulatory matters in accordance with company policies.
  • Demonstrating effective compliance with all legal requirements.
  • Ensuring department employees comply with all safety and security regulations.
  • Ensuring all Khazeen policies are adhered to and maintained effectively.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 10 years of relevant experience.
