About Keeta and the Role

Keeta is seeking a Head of Cross Border Procurement to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to driving sales and achieving targets through strategic category management and product development.

Role Overview

The Head of Cross Border Procurement is responsible for developing comprehensive strategies for product categories. This includes researching new product opportunities within these categories to ensure sustained growth and the achievement of established sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze data to identify industry and consumer trends.
• Identify and establish long-term partnerships with direct distributors and sellers.
• Proactively seek out new suppliers in alignment with strategic objectives.
• Assist in setting the yearly budget, sales targets, and profit margins per category.
• Administer price setting and ensure adherence to margin requirements per category.
• Monitor and enhance category and product performance.
• Establish long-term development strategies for product categories.
• Develop exit strategies for underperforming products.
• Cultivate trust-based relationships with vendors to secure favorable pricing and quality of services.
• Determine the optimal positioning of product categories to maximize visibility.
• Monitor pricing strategies and competitive landscape.
• Collaborate with buyers and merchandisers to expand product categories.
• Assume responsibility for budget development and revenue generation for assigned categories.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Buyer or Category Manager, specifically within the grocery field (non-food).
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or an equivalent field.
