The Role of HR Specialist GR

We are seeking an HR Specialist GR to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position requiring 2-5 years of experience. The role reports to the Regional HRBP ELSB/SP M&S ME and the Country HR Manager. The primary focus will be managing Government Relations transactions and activities within ABB - Saudi Arabia, including supporting complex and escalating assignments. The specialist will ensure operational compliance with local legal and regulatory frameworks and maintain effective coordination between HR Operations and relevant government entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle HR-related administrative transactions and ensure alignment with government systems and internal records.
• Support the maintenance and renewal of official documentation across ABB business entities.
• Liaise with government platforms to ensure continued operational compliance and prevent regulatory disruptions.
• Process end-to-end operations, delivering high-quality results according to global performance standards.
• Support cross-collaboration within HR Services operations and other HR functions to optimize processes and tools.
• Execute and deliver assigned HR Services and certain legal responsibilities.

Compliance and Stakeholder Relations

• Maintain positive relationships with employee representatives, authorities, and government bodies.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, HR policies, and compliance standards within the area of responsibility.
• Partner with business units and HR to understand current issues and recommend new practices, processes, or policies for improvement.
