AtkinsRéalis is a global company providing professional services in engineering, design, and project management. We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to support critical infrastructure projects.

Role Overview

The HSE Manager is responsible for leading and managing all Health, Safety, and Environmental functions across Riyadh Metro operations, maintenance, and infrastructure activities. This role ensures compliance with Saudi Arabian regulations, Riyadh Metro safety standards, environmental requirements, and international best practices. The successful candidate will develop and implement proactive safety programs, risk mitigation strategies, incident prevention initiatives, and environmental management systems to achieve a world-class, zero-incident safety culture across metro facilities, stations, depots, tunnels, and rail operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all HSE activities across metro operations and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, client requirements, and HSE standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
• Monitor contractor HSE performance and compliance.
• Lead safety inspections, audits, and workplace assessments.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans.
• Deliver HSE training, inductions, and awareness programs.
• Monitor environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives.
• Prepare HSE reports, KPIs, and regulatory documentation.
• Promote a strong safety culture and zero-harm environment.

Experience Required

Candidates for this position must possess over 10 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management.

Location and Work Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, specifically supporting Riyadh Metro operations.
