stc is seeking an Investment Development Associate to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to developing and executing investment strategies within the organization.

Role Overview

The Investment Development Associate is responsible for leading and developing the investment thesis for various targets. This includes assessing target fit with strategic objectives, conducting high-level commercial assessments, planning integration hypotheses, and identifying potential value creation in coordination with the overall investment strategy. The role holder will ensure all duties are performed in accordance with stipulated business policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the core investment thesis for approved non-core investment concepts.
• Lead the development of business cases for all transaction types other than M&A, such as Build, Joint Venture, and Spin-off.
• Collaborate with the M&A team in the development of business cases for Acquisitions and Divestment.
• Lead engagement with partners for all transaction types other than M&A.
• Collaborate with M&A in the engagement with targets and manage the Virtual Data Room (VDR) for M&A transactions.
• Develop optimal deal structures, potential value creation models, and integration hypothesis plans.
• Prepare Non-disclosure agreements, Letters of Intent, and Memoranda of Understanding, ensuring alignment with legal requirements.
• Collaborate with M&A in the preparation and submission of legal documents, including Non-binding offers, Binding offers, and Shareholder agreements.
• Align with Business Units/Clusters and Subsidiaries on the investment thesis.
• Present the core investment thesis to senior management and committees to obtain necessary approvals.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in investment development, corporate finance, or a related field.
