IT Infrastructure and Systems Design Expert

About the Role

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking an IT Infrastructure and Systems Design Expert. This full-time role involves leading work activities autonomously, providing expert support in the development of IT infrastructure and systems design and capabilities, and acting as an internal consultant to guide operational activities. The expert will contribute to the strategic development and improvement of ZATCA's IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of IT infrastructure and systems RFPs.
• Supervise the assessment of change requests related to IT infrastructure and systems.
• Review the actual performance of ZATCA IT Infrastructure and systems components against defined KPIs, providing recommendations for improvement.
• Follow latest trends and technologies, gather business and technical requirements, assess current IT infrastructure, identify design gaps, and develop detailed new designs.
• Conduct requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders, interpret requirements for RFP development, and contribute to vendor evaluation and selection.
• Analyze and prioritize IT infrastructure and systems change requests, provide recommendations, and schedule implementation.
• Collect inputs for IT risk assessment related to new technologies and collaborate on risk mitigation plans.
• Analyze performance reports of IT infrastructure and systems against KPIs and recommend improvements.

Organizational and Operational Duties

• Adhere to all relevant policies, processes, and standard operating procedures.
• Assist in resolving escalated problems and support junior team members.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate personnel for proper resolution.
• Perform other assigned duties as requested.

People Management

• Train junior staff on job activities to facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and monitor the workflow of subordinates.
• Support junior staff in executing duties in accordance with established policies and processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience is required for this role.
