The Role of IT Technician

Indra is seeking an IT Technician to join its Mobility business unit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves providing technical support for a key transport project, ensuring the optimal performance and continuity of the IT infrastructure that underpins daily urban transit operations. The IT Technician will report to the local project management team and manage hardware, software, and network environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and applications.
• Monitor and support IT systems, networks, and virtualized environments.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents related to software, hardware, and connectivity.
• Support the deployment of new applications, updates, and system enhancements.
• Prepare technical documentation, procedures, and reports.
• Provide user assistance both on-site and remotely.
• Manage user accounts, credentials, and access configurations.
• Conduct functional testing of software and follow test case procedures.
• Perform safety checks and preventive maintenance on equipment.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in an IT support or technician role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage hardware, software, and network environments.
• Experience with system monitoring, incident resolution, and technical documentation.
