Role Overview: ITS Engineer

We are seeking an experienced ITS Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this full-time role, the incumbent will be primarily responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting a variety of software and hardware problems within elevator systems. This position requires a proactive approach to technical challenges and a commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to all company safety and compliance regulations.
• Adjust work schedules as required by job demands and operational constraints.
• Provide technical advice and insights regarding departmental needs and evaluate effective solutions.
• Assist in the layout, building, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of developmental and existing elevator Printed Wiring Boards (PWBs).
• Assess and follow up on technical suggestions and recommendations for electrical modifications and replacements, based on feedback from technicians and engineers.
• Prepare and produce written documentation for all modifications and repairs performed on elevator PWBs and systems.
• Support the development of training materials and simulators.
• Recommend changes for replacement parts in circuitry or elevator components to minimize breakdown time and simplify maintenance procedures.
• Assist service technicians with troubleshooting and repairing elevator systems.
• Update departmental information and technical databases, ensuring all technical problems are logged and modification documentation is completed.
• Organize necessary training facilitation materials and procedures for course delivery.
• Participate in establishing processes and determining the required tools and equipment for the efficient operation of the technical support center.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in an ITS or technical support role. Experience within the elevator industry or a related field is preferred, demonstrating a strong background in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in our operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires flexibility to adjust schedules based on operational needs and a commitment to adhering to all company safety and compliance standards.
