The Role of Junior Accountant

Saint-Gobain GCC is seeking a Junior Accountant to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience in accounting. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for supporting the finance department by maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with various accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Prepare and process journal entries.
• Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments and invoices.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Maintain employee expense records and reimbursement documentation.
• Ensure proper filing and organization of financial documents.
• Assist with internal and external audit requirements.
• Support tax, VAT, and statutory compliance activities.
• Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned.

Required Experience

• Candidates should have 0-1 years of relevant experience in an accounting role.
