Beech Hall School Riyadh (BHSR) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Laboratory Technician to join its Science Department. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Role Summary

The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for supporting the science curriculum by preparing laboratories, equipment, and materials for practical lessons. This role ensures the smooth operation of science practical sessions while maintaining high standards of health and safety within the laboratory facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratories, equipment, chemicals, and materials for practical lessons.
• Support Biology, Chemistry, and Physics practical sessions.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, chemicals, inventory, and records.
• Ensure high standards of laboratory health and safety.
• Support teachers with experiments, demonstrations, and practical assessments.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe laboratory facilities.
• Monitor chemical storage, expiry dates, and safety equipment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Laboratory Science, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or a related field.
• Previous experience as a School/Science Laboratory Technician is preferred.
• Experience supporting secondary/high school science practicals is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory safety and chemical handling.
• Good English communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with British Curriculum or IB would be an advantage.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position within the Science Department at Beech Hall School Riyadh, located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working closely with science teachers and managing laboratory resources to facilitate practical learning.
