Lead QA/QC Engineer (Luxury Star Hotel FITOUT)

About the Opportunity

UCC Holding is seeking a Lead QA/QC Engineer for a full-time position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on construction and contracting activities, specifically within luxury star hotel fit-out projects. The Lead QA/QC Engineer will provide operational, technical, and functional leadership to ensure alignment with organizational standards, business objectives, and regulatory requirements.

Role Overview

The Lead QA/QC Engineer is responsible for driving performance, coordination, compliance, stakeholder engagement, and service delivery within the QA/QC function. The position supports continuous improvement initiatives, cost optimization, operational efficiency, and quality outcomes. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams, contractors, clients, and various business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily QA/QC activities within construction and contracting to ensure efficient execution, procedural compliance, and achievement of operational targets while maintaining service quality and productivity.
• Coordinate schedules, manpower, materials, contractors, and operational activities to ensure timely completion of tasks, projects, and deliverables in line with approved timelines and business requirements.
• Liaise with internal departments, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, clients, and operational teams to ensure smooth communication, issue resolution, and alignment on technical and operational requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, regulatory standards, HSE requirements, and industry best practices applicable to the construction and contracting sector.
• Monitor operational KPIs, productivity, service standards, and quality benchmarks, identifying gaps, implementing corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare operational reports, technical records, progress updates, cost analyses, and management presentations to support decision-making, audit readiness, and business transparency.
• Support efficient utilization of manpower, equipment, budgets, materials, and operational resources to improve productivity, reduce waste, and optimize operational costs.
• Identify operational risks, technical challenges, delays, and performance issues, implementing mitigation measures and escalation processes to minimize business impact.
• Support the implementation of quality assurance and quality control procedures to ensure services, deliverables, and operational outputs meet company and client expectations.
• Contribute to process enhancements, digital initiatives, workflow optimization, and operational excellence programs to improve efficiency, service delivery, and overall business performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in QA/QC roles within construction and contracting, preferably with exposure to luxury hotel fit-out projects.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing QA/QC functions.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
