ANDALUS GATE HOLDING is seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join its culinary team in Riyadh. This full-time position is integral to maintaining the high standards of food preparation and operational efficiency within our restaurant environment.

The Role of Line Cook

The Line Cook is responsible for the precise preparation of raw materials, including vegetables and proteins, strictly in accordance with established recipes and operational standards. This role ensures the consistent delivery of courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble products accurately according to standard recipes and specifications.
• Ensure the highest standards of safety and cleanliness are maintained in the kitchen.
• Implement strategies to minimize wastage and control costs without compromising food quality or quantity.
• Foster positive and friendly relations with customers and promote this culture among all team members.
• Prepare products efficiently within designated time parameters.
• Adhere strictly to the assigned work schedule, including breaks, leaves, and overtime requirements.
• Actively participate in pre-shift briefings and contribute effectively to team discussions.
• Complete all necessary pre-shift setup tasks before service commences.
• Ensure adequate quantities of all food groups are consistently available, maintaining ample backup as per PAR levels.
• Collaborate with coworkers to ensure all kitchen stations are prepared and ready on time.
• Provide guidance and share information with trainees to enhance overall readiness and performance.
• Accurately apply and monitor shelf-life labels, ensuring full compliance with Food Safety Management (FSM) regulations.
• Consistently utilize routine checklists and FSM lists, ensuring all team members adhere to them.
• Provide constructive feedback to the line manager regarding products, customer interactions, colleagues, and various work parameters.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a similar Line Cook role.
• Demonstrated ability to follow standard recipes and operational procedures consistently.
• Strong understanding and practical application of kitchen safety and hygiene protocols.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively under time constraints.
• Commitment to teamwork and effective communication within a fast-paced kitchen environment.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role requires strict adherence to assigned schedules and a proactive approach to maintaining kitchen standards.
