The Role: Manager - FP&A Operating Assets

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Manager - FP&A Operating Assets to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time role is central to the financial management of Qiddiya’s diverse operating assets, including theme parks, hotels, golf courses, and sports venues. The Manager will be responsible for comprehensive management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, analysis, and performance monitoring. This position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Role Context and Purpose

The Manager - FP&A Operating Assets serves as a critical link between the FP&A department, the Finance Business Partner function, and the Asset Management/Operating Assets teams. The role involves close collaboration with Finance Business Partners (FBPs) to provide essential decision support, deliver performance insights, and formulate strategic financial recommendations for Qiddiya's operating portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans for operating assets in collaboration with Finance Business Partners (FBPs) and Asset Management.
• Support scenario planning for pre-opening, ramp-up, and stabilization phases of assets.
• Track and analyze actual performance against budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and actionable insights to FBPs, asset managers, and leadership.
• Develop dashboards and performance reports in collaboration with the FP&A reporting team, utilizing tools such as Power BI and Anaplan.
• Collaborate with FBPs as the finance point of contact for asset management and operating teams, supporting operational leaders with financial insights.
• Partner with FBPs and Asset Management on key decisions regarding pricing, operating models, and investment proposals.
• Evaluate new operating asset initiatives, expansions, and capital investment proposals from a financial perspective.
• Benchmark the performance of Qiddiya’s assets against industry standards, providing insights into key operational drivers like attendance, occupancy, yield, and utilization.
• Ensure the integration of operating assets’ financial data into FP&A tools, streamline reporting processes, and support governance to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for financial processes, reporting tools, and asset performance monitoring.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in a relevant financial planning and analysis role.
• Demonstrated exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in assessing intricate financial and operational data to provide actionable recommendations.
• Robust business acumen with a comprehensive understanding of asset dynamics related to operating environments, including theme parks, hotels, sports venues, and entertainment assets.
