About the Role

Robert Walters is supporting a major real estate organization in Saudi Arabia with the appointment of a Manager, Internal Audit Quality Assurance. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires 5-10 years of experience. The role focuses on enhancing the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of internal audit activities across the organization.

Role Purpose and Context

The Manager, Internal Audit Quality Assurance will ensure that all internal audit functions align with IIA standards, internal audit methodology, governance requirements, and leading practices. This involves supporting the continuous improvement of the internal audit framework and deliverables within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct quality assurance reviews for internal audit engagements and working papers.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of Internal Audit policies, methodologies, manuals, and templates.
• Lead the Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP) plan and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, governance, and risk management processes.
• Support the annual internal quality assessment of the Internal Audit function.
• Monitor adherence to audit standards, policies, and procedures.
• Support risk-based audit planning and ensure the overall quality of audit deliverables.
• Assist with digital, analytics, and reporting initiatives within the Internal Audit function.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant Internal Audit experience, with at least 2-3 years in a similar quality assurance role.
• Strong knowledge of audit methodologies, internal controls, and quality assurance frameworks.
• CIA or audit quality-related qualifications are strongly preferred.
