About the Role

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Marketing Executive to join the team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience who will support the hotel’s marketing and communication initiatives. The role focuses on developing, coordinating, and executing promotional campaigns, digital content, and branding efforts, ensuring alignment with Crowne Plaza and IHG standards to enhance awareness, engagement, and revenue.

Core Responsibilities

The Marketing Executive will be responsible for a range of activities to support the hotel's marketing objectives, including:

• Supporting the implementation of the hotel’s marketing plan and promotional calendar.
• Assisting in the creation, editing, and proofreading of marketing content in both Arabic and English, such as press releases, flyers, social media posts, and newsletters.
• Coordinating marketing initiatives for rooms, Food & Beverage (F&B), events, and special campaigns.
• Maintaining brand consistency across all marketing materials in adherence to IHG visual and tone guidelines.
• Coordinating internal photo/video shoots and managing the hotel’s image and creative asset library.
• Supporting hotel events and activations through the preparation of promotional materials and on-site coverage.
• Collaborating with various departments, including F&B, Rooms, and Sales, to promote seasonal offers and celebrations.
• Assisting with sponsorship coordination and ensuring branding visibility aligns with contractual agreements.

Digital Marketing and Public Relations Support

This role also involves significant contributions to the hotel's digital presence and public relations efforts:

• Managing daily social media content across approved platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Supporting paid campaign management in collaboration with the IHG Digital Marketing Team.
• Tracking and analyzing digital performance, engagement, and campaign Return on Investment (ROI) through regular reports.
• Ensuring the hotel website content remains accurate and up-to-date.
• Assisting in coordinating media visits, influencer collaborations, and content partnerships.
• Supporting the preparation of media kits, coverage reports, and press materials.
• Maintaining and updating media contact databases.

Administrative Functions and Performance Metrics

The Marketing Executive is also responsible for administrative tasks and contributing to performance monitoring:

• Maintaining organized records for all marketing activities, invoices, and performance reports.
• Tracking budget utilization and ensuring proper documentation for all marketing expenditures.
• Preparing monthly updates and presentations on marketing performance.

Key metrics for success in this role include brand compliance and consistency across materials, social media engagement and growth, timely execution of campaigns and promotions, and overall internal and external communication effectiveness.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Marketing Executive position should possess:

• 0-1 years of experience in a marketing or communications role.
• Demonstrated ability to create and edit content in both Arabic and English.
• Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and social media management.
• Understanding of brand consistency principles and guidelines.

The Marketing Executive will engage with various stakeholders, fostering strong relationships both internally and externally:

• Internal: Sales & Marketing, Food & Beverage, Rooms, and all operational departments within the hotel.
• External: Media representatives, creative agencies, photographers, influencers, and the IHG Brand Marketing Team.
