The Role of Merchandiser

This full-time Merchandiser position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and operates as a key part of the sales team. The primary objective of this role is to maximize PepsiCo's on-shelf presence in all assigned outlets. The Merchandiser is also responsible for adhering to planograms for both on and off-shelf displays and reporting any non-compliance to the pre-seller immediately. Additionally, the role involves providing the pre-seller with current market information to identify and leverage selling opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit specific OT outlets according to the daily journey plan provided by the supervisor.
• Merchandise SSFL products within OT stores across various access points, including shelves, stands, and floor displays.
• Place Point of Sale (POS) material next to SSFL displays as applicable.
• Ensure all access points are merchandised in accordance with approved planograms.
• Rotate products using the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method and remove sub-standard items.
• Maintain clean and fresh stock of SSF products on shelves at all times.
• Monitor and report competitive activities in the market.
• Report any deviations from agreed terms with assigned OT customers or outlets.
• Submit daily activity reports for the prior day to the supervisor.
• Participate in sampling or redemption campaigns when required.
• Maintain a professional personal appearance and behavior in line with the Frito Lay code of conduct.

Additional Responsibilities

When necessary, the Merchandiser will also be responsible for conducting in-store sampling sessions and managing in-store promotions to support sales initiatives.
