About the Opportunity

A leading global law firm is seeking a Mid–Senior Banking & Finance Associate Lawyer to join its Riyadh office. This full-time position is open to a Saudi National with significant experience in banking and finance law. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to a highly regarded practice, advising on some of the Kingdom's most significant financing transactions.

The Banking & Finance Practice

The firm's Banking & Finance practice advises a diverse client base, including domestic and international financial institutions, sponsors, government entities, and major corporates. The successful associate will work on sophisticated domestic and cross-border transactions across Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East. This role involves close collaboration with leading partners and offers significant client contact and responsibility from an early stage.

Key Responsibilities

The associate will advise clients on a broad range of conventional and Islamic Banking & Finance matters, including:

• Islamic finance and Shari'ah-compliant structures
• Syndicated and bilateral lending transactions
• Corporate finance
• Acquisition finance
• Project finance
• Real estate finance
• Refinancing and restructuring transactions
• Security arrangements and financing documentation

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Must be a Saudi National.
• Possess 3–9 years' Post-Qualified Experience (PQE).
• Demonstrate strong Banking & Finance experience acquired at a leading international or top-tier regional law firm.
• Experience in Islamic Finance and Shari'ah-compliant financing structures is highly advantageous.
• Proven experience advising lenders, borrowers, sponsors, or financial institutions on complex financing transactions.

Work Environment

This role is based in the firm's Riyadh office, operating on a full-time basis. The associate will be integrated into a dynamic team, working alongside experienced partners on high-profile transactions within a supportive professional environment.
