Tarshid (ترشيد) is the National Energy Services Company, established by the Public Investment Fund with the mandate to catalyze the development of a more energy-efficient Saudi Arabia. Its launch is a result of a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Finance, and the Saudi Energy Efficiency Center. Tarshid aims to be a pioneer in the energy efficiency field, working towards a more sustainable future by developing, funding, and managing impactful energy efficiency projects in government and commercial sectors across the Kingdom.

The Role

Tarshid is seeking an M&V Project Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience, providing essential support to the Measurement & Verification (M&V) Team. The role involves contributing to day-to-day M&V support duties, including the review and analysis of project M&V activities, implementation of strategic initiatives, and preparation of detailed reports for the M&V team.

Key Responsibilities

The M&V Project Engineer will perform a range of duties primarily focused on supporting M&V activities throughout the project lifecycle. These responsibilities include:

• Support project development by assessing baseline consumption and evaluating project feasibility.
• Assist the M&V consultant in the baseline evaluation of bids throughout the bid award process.
• Provide support for submetering installation, consumption evaluation, and the finalization of DFS (Detailed Feasibility Study) and ESPC (Energy Savings Performance Contract) documentation.
• Contribute to other M&V related activities as required.
• Support the finalization of documentation necessary for project M&V plan completion during retrofit implementation.
• Aid in preparing M&V reports and ensuring comprehensive review of project performance post-retrofit.
• Liaise with the Operations & Maintenance (OM) team, ESCO (Energy Service Company) team, and the client Entity to resolve any arising issues.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all work-related matters and information.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this full-time position are required to have:

• 0-1 years of professional experience in a relevant field.
