Oracle Cloud Architect/Engineer

About the Role

Akkodis is seeking an Oracle Cloud Architect/Engineer for a 2-month freelance assignment based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is scheduled to commence on November 1, 2026. The successful consultant must currently reside in Saudi Arabia and will be responsible for implementing and securing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments.

Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of this position is to implement and secure Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments. This includes a range of duties focused on security, identity, data protection, and resilience.

Specific Duties

• Implement OCI Security Zones and configure Cloud Guard (CSPM).
• Perform landing-zone hardening for the sovereign realm.
• Implement and manage IAM/PAM solutions, configure Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and enforce least-privilege and Just-In-Time (JIT) access models.
• Implement and enforce Operator Access Control (OAC) workflows.
• Configure and manage OCI Vault, implement HSM-based key management (FIPS 140-2 Level 3), and manage customer-managed encryption keys and BYOK solutions, ensuring alignment with NCS-1:2020 cryptographic standards.
• Design and secure OCI VCN and NSG environments, implement private-only endpoints, configure FastConnect connectivity, and deploy and manage WAF and DDoS protection controls.
• Implement OCI Data Safe capabilities, including data discovery, data masking, and activity auditing, while enforcing data residency requirements.
• Configure immutable audit logging, implement log ingestion and monitoring capabilities, integrate OCI telemetry and logs with SIEM platforms, and provide control telemetry and evidence collection mechanisms.
• Configure cross-Availability Domain backup strategies, implement Disaster Recovery configurations, and perform failover and failback validation testing.
• Automate evidence collection for implemented controls, map controls CCC and ECC references, and support audit-pack preparation and compliance reporting.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure architecture and engineering, with a strong focus on security implementation and management.

Work Arrangement and Location

This is a freelance position for a duration of two months. The role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and applicants must currently be located within Saudi Arabia.
