About the Role

Kyowa Kirin International is seeking a Patient Journey Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, field-based role serves as the primary point of contact for Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and associated stakeholders, acting as an omnichannel conductor with deep insight into the entire patient journey. The core objective is to deliver a personalized, high-value customer experience, aiming to shorten the patient journey and improve outcomes aligned with KKI’s Rare Disease portfolio and mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the single point of contact for HCPs and stakeholders, representing Kyowa Kirin within the assigned geography.
  • Develop territory business plans and account strategies based on field insights, aligning with company vision and brand plans.
  • Possess an intimate understanding of the patient journey to innovate and partner on interventions that shorten time to diagnosis.
  • Apply scientific and clinical knowledge of Nephrology and/or Haematology Oncology and KKI products in discussions.
  • Orchestrate and implement omnichannel engagement strategies, leveraging KKI assets and content tailored to HCP preferences.
  • Achieve sales targets and KPIs through local account plans and core strategy execution.
  • Project manage agreed plans and initiatives to deliver patient-focused outcomes within budgetary requirements.
  • Identify, develop, engage, and maintain professional relationships with external stakeholders, including key treatment centers and medical experts.
  • Build networks across the patient journey, collaborating with HCPs to provide solutions benefiting patients, customers, and KKI.
  • Articulate clinical data and economic value arguments for KKI products to local payers and stakeholders, working cross-functionally with Payer Value & Patient Access.
  • Demonstrate a working understanding of health policy, rare disease, and the pharmaceutical industry environment.
  • Communicate insights and intelligence from Key External Experts (KEEs) to shape strategy and support patient solutions.
  • Attend and actively participate in local and international scientific meetings, providing briefings and acting as a speaker in clinical sessions.
  • Plan and deliver medical education programs to improve patient outcomes and optimize product use.
  • Ensure timely and accurate use of the CRM system and submission of managerial reports.
  • Conduct all activities in compliance with relevant laws, codes, guidelines, and Kyowa Kirin Group policies.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • 5-10 years of experience in field Medical or Commercial roles within Rare Disease.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder and KEE/TAE management.
  • Digital expertise, including multichannel management and virtual engagement (*, email, webinars, Zoom/Teams).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of local, regional, and national health systems and care delivery processes.

Work Environment and Travel

This role requires weekly travel within the assigned territory. The position involves both home and office-based computer use for virtual meetings and correspondence. Candidates must hold a valid driving license. Limited lifting of marketing materials may be required.
