About NTU International and the Role

NTU International A/S is seeking a Photographer / Photo Editor to join a pool of qualified Non-Key Experts. This part-time role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves supporting a significant communication outreach project focused on EU policies in North Africa, the Middle East, and the Gulf region. The selected expert will be mobilised on a short-term, on-demand basis over a 36-month project implementation period.

Project Overview and Objectives

The primary objective of this assignment is to provide strategic, technical, and logistical communication support to DG MENA. This support will facilitate the planning, development, and implementation of daily communication activities, aiming to enhance the visibility, outreach, and overall impact of the European Union's policies, initiatives, and partnerships across the Middle East, North Africa, and the Gulf region.

Core Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality photographs during conferences, workshops, press events, official visits, and other communication activities.
• Produce compelling visual content for websites, social media platforms, publications, and promotional materials.
• Edit, retouch, and optimise photographs for both print and digital use.
• Manage image selection, cataloguing, and archiving in strict accordance with project requirements.
• Ensure all visual content adheres to EU branding, communication, and copyright guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with communication teams to support storytelling initiatives and campaign objectives.
• Provide comprehensive photographic coverage for high-level institutional events and stakeholder engagement activities.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of general experience in photography.
• At least 1 year of specific experience in press, event, or corporate photography.

Work Modality and Location

This is a part-time position, with mobilisation on a short-term, on-demand basis as required by project needs. The role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
