Jazera Arabia Contracting is seeking a dedicated Planning & Scheduling Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to significant projects within the contracting sector.

The Role of a Planning & Scheduling Engineer

The Planning & Scheduling Engineer will be responsible for the comprehensive planning, scheduling, and monitoring of project activities. This role involves ensuring projects adhere to established timelines and budgets through effective scheduling practices and proactive problem-solving within a dynamic project environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
Monitor project progress and identify schedule variances.
Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely execution of project activities.
Analyze critical paths and develop recovery plans when required.
Prepare Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and S-Curves.
Monitor project performance and support effective project planning and control.

Required Experience and Skills

Candidates for this role should possess a strong background in project planning and scheduling within the contracting industry. A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required.

Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
Demonstrated ability to analyze project schedules and identify critical paths.
Strong communication and coordination skills for effective team collaboration.
Experience in preparing comprehensive project reports and documentation.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with various project teams to achieve project objectives.
