Presales Consultant

About the Role

El-Ajou Group Trading is seeking a Presales Consultant specializing in Office Furniture Solutions. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires 2-5 years of experience. The role involves supporting the sales team by developing workspace solutions, preparing proposals, conducting site surveys, coordinating furniture layouts, and engaging with customers to ensure technical and commercial requirements are met.

Role Purpose

The Presales Consultant will combine knowledge of office furniture products, workplace design, space planning, and project requirements to develop competitive and compliant solutions. This role supports various sectors including corporate, government, education, healthcare, and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet clients to understand workspace requirements, operational needs, and project objectives.
• Conduct site surveys and gather measurements.
• Develop workspace and office furniture solutions aligned with customer requirements and budget.
• Prepare furniture specifications, bill of quantities (BOQ), and solution recommendations.
• Coordinate with designers to develop 2D and 3D layouts using AutoCAD, SketchUp, CET, or similar tools.
• Recommend ergonomic and productivity-enhancing furniture solutions.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, analyzing tender/RFP requirements for compliance.
• Develop compliance matrices and response documents, and create solution presentations.
• Prepare cost estimates and coordinate pricing with procurement and vendors.
• Deliver customer presentations and product demonstrations, and conduct solution workshops.
• Support the sales team during negotiations and bid clarification meetings.
• Act as a trusted advisor regarding workspace planning and furniture standards.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers for specifications, quotations, and lead times.
• Work closely with project management, procurement, logistics, and installation teams.
• Support product selection and value engineering initiatives.
• Stay updated on office furniture trends, workplace transformation, ergonomic standards, and sustainability requirements.
• Monitor competitor offerings and market developments, and support product launches and technical training activities.

Required Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Experience in Office Furniture.

• Background in Interior Fit-Out.
