About the Role

Salt is partnering with a leading global consulting organization that is expanding its Supply Chain & Operations practice. They are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead high-profile Procurement Transformation engagements in Riyadh. This contract role offers the opportunity to work with major global organizations, transforming their procurement functions, optimizing costs, implementing digital solutions, and delivering sustainable business value.

Role Overview

As a Manager, you will lead large-scale transformation programs from strategy through execution. This involves working directly with C-suite stakeholders and managing multidisciplinary consulting teams. A key aspect of this role includes contributing to business development, thought leadership, and securing strategic engagements, making a significant impact for both clients and the consulting practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading end-to-end procurement transformation programs for regional and global clients.
  • Advising senior executives on procurement strategy and operating model design.
  • Delivering engagements across various areas including: Spend Management & Cost Optimisation, Strategic Sourcing & Category Management, Procurement Operating Model Transformation, Procurement Digitalisation, Procurement Operations, and ESG & Sustainable Procurement.
  • Managing client relationships at Executive and C-suite levels.
  • Leading proposals, RFPs, and business development activities.
  • Presenting executive-level recommendations to drive strategic change.
  • Managing, coaching, and developing high-performing consulting teams.
  • Contributing to thought leadership and practice development.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should be experienced procurement transformation consultants with a proven track record of delivering complex consulting engagements. Specific requirements include:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with a Tier 1 consulting firm.
  • Strong experience leading Procurement Transformation programmes.
  • Expertise in one or more of the following areas: Procurement Digital Transformation, Operating Model Design, Third-Party Spend Management, ESG & Sustainable Procurement, or Supply Chain Transformation.
  • Experience managing multiple project teams concurrently.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with exposure to C-level executives.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Commercial acumen with experience supporting business development and proposal activities.
  • A Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record.
