About the Product & Design Internship

Tabby | تابي is offering a Product & Design Internship in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, designed for individuals seeking rapid professional growth in product and design. This is a full-time, six-month paid internship with a salary of SAR 3,000 per month, starting after mid-October 2026. The internship aims to provide a path to a junior role within the team, depending on performance.

The Tabby Imagine Challenge

Entry into this internship is exclusively through Tabby Imagine, an open design and product challenge for Saudi Arabia. There is no traditional CV screening for this role. Three winners will be selected, with each winner securing an internship position. The challenge requires participants to develop a product idea for Tabby—either a new concept or an enhancement to an existing feature. Submissions can be in any format that best showcases the idea, such as a written page, Figma file, clickable prototype, working code, or a short video. All entries must be submitted as a link that is publicly accessible. Entries will be reviewed anonymously by a panel, and the strongest entrants will present their work live at the final event, which serves as the interview for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Interns will work on real product decisions under senior review, covering the full product lifecycle from problem identification to post-launch analysis. Responsibilities include:

  • Taking a real problem within the Tabby app from initial question to a shipped solution.
  • Conducting research, including user interviews and data analysis, to identify underlying issues.
  • Assessing the scope of problems and determining what actions to prioritize or defer.
  • Designing solutions in Figma, covering flows, screens, states, and edge cases.
  • Participating in critique sessions with the product and design teams and iterating on designs.
  • Handing off designs to engineers and supporting the build process through to release.
  • Measuring the impact of launched features and evaluating their effectiveness.
  • Presenting results to the team, including instances where solutions did not achieve desired outcomes.
  • Collaborating with engineers, analysts, and product managers on shared problems.
  • Presenting work, defending design decisions, and adapting based on new evidence.
  • Documenting work clearly for team members who were not directly involved.

Eligibility and Application Process

This internship is open to individuals aged 18 or over, living in Saudi Arabia (citizens and residents). Team entries are not permitted. Current Tabby employees, contractors, their immediate families, and anyone who left Tabby in the last twelve months are ineligible. Entries open on September 16 and close on September 30. The final presentation event will take place on October 15. Registration is available at ******************************** The internship requires a full-time level of engagement, with expectations for performance, ownership, and involvement.

Work Environment

Interns will be fully integrated into a product or design team at Tabby, with team placement matched to the work demonstrated in the challenge. Tabby operates with a distributed team across multiple countries. For interns based in Riyadh, the working mode is office-first.
