About the Role

CareerFirst Company is seeking a Product Owner Lead to strategically manage and enhance its digital platform offerings. Based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this full-time position involves leading the product roadmap, translating complex business requirements into high-value product backlogs, and driving cross-functional alignment to deliver seamless platform features.

Product Strategy and Delivery

The Product Owner Lead will be responsible for defining and executing the product vision and roadmap. Key responsibilities include:

• Defining, managing, and executing the product vision, roadmap, and release plans aligned with business growth goals.
• Leading business requirements gathering sessions, translating operational needs into detailed technical scope, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Overseeing product feature classification, prioritization, and backlog grooming to maximize return on investment (ROI) and platform usability.
• Prioritizing user stories and system enhancements based on strategic objectives and user needs.

Team Leadership and Collaboration

This role involves leading and mentoring a team while ensuring effective collaboration across departments:

• Leading, mentoring, and supervising the Product Management/Analysis team in daily sprint planning, backlog refinement, and feature delivery.
• Setting operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for product performance and maintaining high standards of quality, feature delivery timelines, and user satisfaction.
• Facilitating alignment across business stakeholders, UI/UX designers, software engineers, and Quality Assurance (QA) teams.

Platform Governance and Optimization

The Product Owner Lead will ensure continuous improvement and effective management of the platform through:

• Monitoring platform metrics, user feedback, and market trends to continuously propose system enhancements and mitigations.
• Managing stakeholder expectations and establishing clear governance for handling new feature requests and scope changes.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in product ownership or a related field, demonstrating a strong background in managing and elevating digital platform offerings.
