Overview of the Role

Amaken is seeking an experienced Production Operations Manager to lead large-scale production and end-to-end operational activities for a leading company in the fit-out, joinery, furniture manufacturing, events & exhibitions, and architectural/thematic structures industry. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires a hands-on, tech-savvy leader with strong experience in manufacturing operations, project delivery, and cross-functional team management.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee large-scale production and factory operations from planning through final delivery.
Manage and coordinate Production, Procurement, Logistics, Stores/Warehouse, Installation, Planning, HSE, and QA/QC functions.
Oversee production planning, scheduling, manpower allocation, capacity, and material requirements.
Manage raw-material sourcing, procurement, supplier relationships, negotiations, and purchasing.
Ensure effective inventory, warehouse, and material control, and timely availability of materials for production.
Manage logistics, transportation, imports, shipments, deliveries, and material movement.
Lead installation and site operations teams, ensuring timely and efficient project execution.
Manage production and operational requirements for large-scale events, exhibitions, and fit-out projects.
Coordinate closely with project, design, and production teams to ensure project requirements and deadlines are met.
Ensure compliance with HSE, QA/QC, and approved technical and quality standards.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, productivity, and delivery timelines.
Establish and monitor KPIs, operational dashboards, and performance metrics.
Drive process improvement, productivity, efficiency, and cost/waste reduction initiatives.
Leverage ERP and digital tools to improve planning, reporting, inventory, and operational visibility.
Lead, develop, and hold large multidisciplinary teams accountable for performance and delivery.
Take full ownership of operational performance and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required standards.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in Saudi Arabia.
Extensive experience in events and exhibitions, particularly large-scale and mass-production projects.
Strong experience in metal fabrication, architectural/thematic structures, fit-out, joinery, furniture manufacturing, woodwork, interiors, events, and/or exhibitions.
Proven experience managing large-scale production and factory operations.
Strong experience across Production, Procurement, Logistics, Stores/Warehouse, Installation, HSE, QA/QC, and Planning.
Experience managing large teams and multiple departments/functions.

Required Skills

Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, manpower, capacity, and project delivery.
Strong supplier management, procurement, material sourcing, and cost-control experience.
Experience managing high-volume operations with tight deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong ERP and digital systems experience.
Tech-savvy and data-driven, with experience using KPIs, reporting tools, and process-improvement methodologies.
Strong leadership, accountability, problem-solving, and operational excellence skills.

Work Environment

This role is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring a leader capable of managing multidisciplinary teams within a dynamic operational environment.
