The Role of Quality Specialist

Madeeda Hospitals is seeking an experienced Quality Specialist to enhance its Quality Management and Accreditation programs. This full-time role, based in Riyadh, primarily focuses on hospital accreditation readiness, compliance monitoring, and continuous improvement. The Quality Specialist will also support patient safety, incident management, KPI monitoring, audits, and quality improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will collaborate with department leaders to ensure sustained compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements and to drive measurable improvements in quality and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Accreditation & Compliance: Support the planning, implementation, and continuous readiness of hospital accreditation programs.
• Coordinate and follow up on accreditation requirements, standards, action plans, and evidence.
• Conduct accreditation readiness assessments, tracer activities, and internal compliance audits.
• Monitor departmental compliance with accreditation standards and identify gaps requiring improvement.
• Follow up on corrective action plans and ensure timely closure of accreditation findings.
• Quality & Patient Safety: Support the hospital’s Incident Reporting and Management process, including trend analysis, investigation, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and follow-up of corrective actions.
• Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and quality indicators, identify performance gaps, and support departments in developing improvement actions.
• Support quality and patient safety education and awareness activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a relevant quality or accreditation role within a healthcare setting.
• Demonstrated experience with hospital accreditation programs and regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical skills for monitoring KPIs, identifying performance gaps, and supporting improvement initiatives.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with department leaders and multidisciplinary teams.
