About Camco and the Role

Camco is seeking a full-time Rail Electrification (REL) Supervisor to join its team in Riyadh. This role is integral to supporting the REL Manager by ensuring that workloads are prioritized effectively based on operational and safety demands, aligning with overall business objectives.

Role Overview

The Rail Electrification (REL) Supervisor assists maintenance teams in troubleshooting complex issues and ensures that asset maintenance is conducted in strict accordance with quality standards. This position holds responsibility for maintaining asset safety, reliability, and compliance, and involves developing solutions proactively with guidance from more experienced peers and superiors. The role requires adherence to metro standards, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and compliance with safety and quality requirements throughout the asset lifecycle. Additionally, the Supervisor supports procurement teams by providing technical analysis and justification for Requests for Quotation (RFQs), developing Bills of Materials, contributing to tender input and clarifications, and exploring alternative equipment manufacturers to support localization targets in Saudi Arabia, with a focus on improving quality and reducing costs.

Key Responsibilities

Providing oversight for asset maintenance, maintenance planning, asset strategy, and predictive and condition-based maintenance for discipline-specific systems (REL).
Executing maintenance and repair activities for relevant equipment according to established work plans and maintenance manuals.
Ensuring that quality standards are consistently upheld during all maintenance operations.
Supporting the hiring, training, and assessment of team staff, and managing ongoing personnel training and development efforts.
Assisting the REL Manager and wider superiors in the technical directorate with Root Cause Analysis & Incident Reporting for faults, failures, and incidents.
Collaborating with the REL Manager and the wider technical team on the creation, review, modification, and approval of maintenance documentation, design drawings, and related documents.
Executing and/or supervising complex maintenance activities performed by internal teams or sub-contractors.
Ensuring the safety of teams, strict adherence to all safety processes, and the correct use of tooling.
Creating and distributing safety/quality briefs and toolbox talks to supervisors.
Reviewing CMMS logs and attachments to ensure maintenance teams are following good practices.
Reviewing change management processes to ensure thorough review and avoid any operational impact.
Deputizing for the REL Manager or Head of Transit Systems and supporting them in any reasonable requested tasks.

Required Qualifications and Experience

5 years of system-related experience within the rail, aviation, or broader transportation industry.
Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a supervisory role.
Experience in creating Bills of Materials and involvement in procurement processes, competitive tenders, and providing technical clarifications.
Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis & Failure Modes and Effects Analysis.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships with, and influence, a range of people at all levels within an organization.
Experience providing input to senior management teams.
Capability in analyzing and predicting future failures, along with providing solutions to increase the lifecycle of assets.
