About the Role

TawanTech is seeking an experienced React Native Developer to join its technology team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time role focuses on supporting digital banking and financial services solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining high-performance cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.

Key Responsibilities

• Support integration with banking services including account information, customer onboarding, authentication, fund transfers, payments, beneficiary management, transaction history, cards, and notifications.
• Handle sensitive financial and customer information in compliance with banking security and regulatory requirements.
• Work with enterprise integration layers, API gateways, middleware, and backend services.
• Implement secure mobile application development practices suitable for banking environments, including secure authentication (OAuth , OpenID Connect, JWT, MFA, biometric), data protection (in transit and at rest), and secure storage mechanisms.
• Follow mobile security best practices and organizational security standards, collaborating with security teams to address vulnerabilities.
• Consume and integrate REST APIs and JSON-based services, managing authentication, authorization, error handling, and response validation.
• Analyze and improve application performance, responsiveness, memory usage, and startup time, resolving bottlenecks in React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript code.
• Understand underlying Android and iOS platforms, troubleshooting native build and runtime issues, and working with tools like Android Studio, Gradle, Xcode, and CocoaPods.
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and component tests using frameworks such as Jest, React Native Testing Library, or Detox.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines for automated mobile application builds, testing, and deployment, supporting mobile releases through Google Play Console and Apple App Store.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents affecting mobile banking applications, performing root-cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.

Required Skills and Expertise

The role requires strong expertise in modern mobile application architecture, TypeScript, the React Native ecosystem, API integration, security, performance optimization, and enterprise application development. Candidates should have experience working on banking, fintech, financial services, payment, or other highly regulated environments, with a strong understanding of secure mobile application development and enterprise integration.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software/mobile application development, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in React Native development building and maintaining enterprise-grade mobile applications.
• Proven experience developing and supporting iOS and Android applications using React Native.
• Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Redux/Redux Toolkit, REST APIs, and mobile application architecture.
• Experience working on banking, fintech, payments, digital banking, or financial services projects is highly preferred.
• Experience working in enterprise and highly regulated environments is an advantage.
• Proven experience working with cross-functional teams including Backend, QA, DevOps, Security, Business Analysts, and Solution Architects.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. Relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
