Sales Manager (EBC)

About the Role

Marriott Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Sales Manager (EBC) to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves leading and managing sales functions for properties within the region, with a focus on building long-term customer relationships to achieve sales objectives. The Sales Manager will also be responsible for achieving personal booking goals and making recommendations for direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct targeted account research to identify potential business opportunities.
• Solicit and qualify new and existing accounts that meet company criteria.
• Identify, qualify, and solicit new group business to achieve personal revenue goals while maintaining brand integrity.
• Analyze competitors' strengths and weaknesses to develop effective sales strategies.
• Provide leadership to maximize revenue potential, including setting personal booking goals and recommending goals for team members.
• Participate in sales calls with team members to acquire and close business.
• Execute operational aspects of booked business, such as generating proposals, writing contracts, and managing customer correspondence.

Sales and Financial Analysis

• Analyze market information using sales systems and implement strategies to achieve financial room and catering goals for each property.
• Assist Revenue Management in completing accurate six-period projections.
• Review sales and catering guest satisfaction results to identify areas for improvement.

Customer Service and Relationship Management

• Demonstrate leadership in guest hospitality and customer service, setting a positive example for guest relations.
• Interact with guests to gather feedback on product quality and service levels.
• Meet with guests during pre- and post-convention meetings to obtain feedback on product quality, service levels, contract execution, and overall satisfaction.
• Execute and support the company’s customer service standards to drive satisfaction and loyalty.
• Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate features and services to exceed expectations and build loyalty.
• Develop and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with on- and off-property sales channels to ensure property needs are met and sales efforts are complementary.
• Attend customer events, trade shows, and sales missions to maintain and develop key relationships.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant sales role.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales objectives and manage a sales function.
• Strong understanding of market analysis and sales systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building customer relationships.
