About the Role at Qureos
Qureos is seeking a Sales Manager Freight Forwarding to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for a dynamic and results-oriented professional with a strong background in freight forwarding and logistics, focused on driving business growth and expanding our customer portfolio.
Role Overview
The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and delivering customized logistics solutions. This includes services across air, sea, and land freight. The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in these areas, coupled with excellent market knowledge, strong industry connections, and a commitment to achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within freight forwarding, logistics, and supply chain services.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, importers, exporters, and key decision-makers.
- Promote and sell Air Freight, Sea Freight, Land Transportation, Customs Clearance, Warehousing, and Value-Added Logistics Services.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, service agreements, and commercial presentations.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms while ensuring profitability.
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts by identifying additional business opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with Operations and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to develop effective sales strategies.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance updates for management.
- Represent the organization at industry events, exhibitions, networking forums, and client meetings.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 5-10 years of sales experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain companies.
- Demonstrated ability to develop new business and manage key accounts.
- Strong understanding of air, sea, and land freight services, customs clearance, and warehousing.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Candidates with sales experience from leading international or regional logistics providers such as DHL Global Forwarding, Kuehne+Nagel, DSV, DB Schenker, CEVA Logistics, Expeditors, Agility Logistics, Aramex, Bahri Logistics, UPS Supply Chain Solutions, FedEx Logistics, CMA CGM Logistics, Maersk Logistics, or similar organizations are preferred. A strong customer network and a successful record in acquiring and managing freight forwarding clients within the Saudi market are highly valued.
