HCLTech is seeking an SAP Specialist to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on the operational aspects of SAP systems within a dynamic environment.

Role Overview

The SAP Specialist is responsible for maintaining the stability, availability, and optimal performance of SAP landscapes. This involves a range of technical and administrative duties, ensuring seamless system operation and user support. The role requires a proactive approach to monitoring and issue resolution, contributing to the overall health of SAP infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of the SAP Specialist encompass system monitoring, maintenance, and administrative support. This role is integral to ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of SAP applications and related services.

System Monitoring and Maintenance

• Monitor SAP systems to ensure the availability of SAP landscapes.
• Perform daily health checks of SAP application servers and databases.
• Monitor background jobs, work processes, system logs, dumps, and spool requests.
• Monitor and understand the memory requirements of the SAP system.
• Monitor connections from On-premise to Cloud environments.
• Execute upgrades for components such as kernel, ST-PI, ST-A/PI, CIM, CR, SPAM, and SAINT.
• Support SAP system startup and shutdown activities.
• Support routine maintenance activities and scheduled jobs.

User and Administrative Support

• Handle user administration activities, including user creation/deletion, password resets, and role assignment coordination.
• Monitor transport requests and support transport movement activities within the SAP landscape.

Collaboration and Documentation

• Identify and escalate performance issues, system alerts, and failures to L2/L3 teams for advanced resolution.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of incidents, issues, and operational procedures.
• Coordinate effectively with infrastructure, database, and application teams during incident management and resolution.
