About the Role

Tabby is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to leading our Accounts Payable and Vendor Management functions, overseeing the entire accounts payable lifecycle. The ideal candidate will ensure payment accuracy, compliance, and foster strong vendor relationships, contributing to operational excellence and data integrity within our financial operations.

Accounts Payable Management

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the comprehensive management of accounts payable processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all transactions.

  • Oversee the full-cycle Accounts Payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices.
  • Manage vendor payment runs and ensure strict adherence to payment terms and internal policies.
  • Perform detailed invoice matching against purchase orders and receipts to verify accuracy.

Vendor Relationship and Data Management

This role involves active management of vendor relationships and data to ensure smooth operations and compliance.

  • Maintain vendor master data, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with company standards.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries and facilitate effective dispute resolution.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and provide support to the procurement team in contract negotiations when necessary.
  • Perform regular vendor statement reconciliations to ensure ledger accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

Financial Compliance and Reporting

A critical aspect of this position is ensuring compliance with financial regulations and supporting month-end closing procedures.

  • Ensure full compliance with VAT and withholding tax regulations pertaining to vendor payments.
  • Maintain strict internal controls over disbursements to prevent fraud and ensure financial integrity.
  • Support the month-end close process by managing AP accruals and preparing aging reports.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess a strong background in accounting with specific expertise in accounts payable and vendor management.

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in an accounting role, with a focus on Accounts Payable and Vendor Management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in vendor onboarding, disbursement controls, and P2P (Procure-to-Pay) process optimization.
  • Strong understanding of financial compliance, including VAT and withholding tax regulations.
