UCC Holding is a prominent company seeking a dedicated professional for a full-time position. This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and focuses on significant architectural projects within the construction sector.

The Role: Senior Architect

We are looking for an experienced Senior Architect to oversee architectural works on building construction and fit-out projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that construction aligns with approved designs, specifications, and project requirements, particularly within 5-star hotels and luxury hospitality developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise architectural works throughout the construction and fit-out phases.
• Review and coordinate architectural drawings, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate architectural works with structural, MEP, interior design, and other disciplines.
• Review construction drawings to ensure compliance with approved design and project specifications.
• Monitor site execution to ensure architectural works meet required quality, design, and finishing standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to resolve technical issues.
• Review and approve materials, samples, mock-ups, and method statements related to architectural works.
• Monitor progress of architectural and fit-out activities and identify potential delays or technical issues.
• Ensure proper implementation of hotel finishes, interiors, partitions, ceilings, flooring, doors, joinery, and other architectural elements.
• Review RFIs, technical queries, and design changes, coordinating necessary approvals.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Support the project team in achieving quality, schedule, and project objectives.
• Ensure proper preparation and completion of as-built drawings and handover documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• 12+ years of relevant experience in architectural construction.
• Mandatory experience in building construction and fit-out projects.
• Strong experience in 5-star hotels, luxury hospitality, high-end buildings, or similar projects.
• Experience with Tier 1 main contractors is highly preferred.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of architectural construction details, materials, and finishing works.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM is an advantage.
• Strong experience in coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Good understanding of construction specifications, drawings, quality requirements, and project standards.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.
