Senior BCM & Supply chain Specialist

About the Role

The Water Transmission Company is seeking a Senior BCM & Supply Chain Specialist to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s comprehensive Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Supply Chain framework. The specialist will lead advanced risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure BC activities align with organizational goals, regulations, and emerging risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure work adheres to approved policies, processes, procedures, and instructions.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in systems, practices, cost optimization, and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and standards within WTCO and related functions (*, HC, HSSE, Risk, Cybersecurity).
• Escalate problems to ensure efficient and timely resolution of cases/issues.
• Lead comprehensive risk assessments and scenario planning for BC, Supply Chain, and Crisis Management.
• Serve as a key liaison with internal leadership and external stakeholders to ensure BC strategies are understood and supported.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance BC and Supply Chain readiness and crisis response capabilities.
• Oversee the development and execution of organization-wide BC, Supply Chain, and crisis training programs.
• Ensure full integration of BC and Supply Chain strategies with enterprise risk management, IT disaster recovery, and cybersecurity measures.
• Evaluate the resilience of third-party relationships and implement improvement plans as needed.
• Ensure BC, Supply Chain, and Crisis Management activities meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Lead financial risk mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of disruptions.
• Oversee and facilitate post-crisis reviews, embedding lessons learned into organizational policies and plans.
• Provide expert guidance to teams and leadership on BC and Crisis Management best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required for this role.
