About the Opportunity

Jobskey Consultancy is seeking Senior Civil Engineers for a full-time, site-based position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is integral to a landmark high-rise tower development within the Riyadh Region, offering a significant opportunity to contribute to a major construction project.

Role Overview

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will act as the Main Contractor's/Developer's site engineer, holding full responsibility for the direct execution, resourcing, and delivery of civil and structural works. The position requires proficiency in Building Information Modelling (BIM), which is a key requirement for all engineering disciplines involved in this development.

Core Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute civil and structural works, including substructure, superstructure, concrete works, and waterproofing, as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Support and contribute to the execution and coordination of architectural works.
• Review structural drawings, shop drawings, and method statements for civil works prior to execution.
• Conduct and record formal site work inspections at each construction stage prior to sign-off.
• Monitor material and workmanship quality against project specifications and the Saudi Building Code.
• Prepare and verify quantity take-offs and measurement of executed works for interim payment certificates and variation evaluation.

Site Management and Coordination

• Manage direct labor crews and/or subcontractors performing civil and structural works.
• Coordinate with quality, safety, and planning teams to ensure works progress per schedule and standards.
• Coordinate directly with the Technical Team and design consultants on Requests for Information (RFIs) and site queries.
• Supervise and mentor Civil Engineers and site labor assigned to their work fronts.
• Maintain daily site records, progress reports, and as-built documentation, ensuring adherence to health and safety requirements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in tower construction. Prior experience on high-rise tower projects is essential, gained from technical and engineering positions. This tower experience may have been acquired anywhere within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or internationally.
